Trump’s Voter Crackdown Fails (Again)

Trump tried to make voting harder than renewing your license. A federal judge reminded him the Constitution still exists. Spoiler: Trump loses (again).
Cartoon illustration of voters in line at a Voter ID Checkpoint with stacks of documents; official stamping "REJECTED" while mail ballots fly from a broken mail truck.
A satirical take on voter ID laws, turning elections into DMV-style absurdity with excessive paperwork and rejected ballots.

In his ongoing war against both democracy and the United States Postal Service, Donald Trump tried (again) to issue an executive order that basically said:

“No mail-in ballots unless you deliver them by hand, via carrier pigeon, or personally escorted by ICE agents.”

But a federal judge in Massachusetts took one look at it and said:
“Absolutely not. Sit down, sir.”

🕵️‍♂️ THE PLAN: PAPERWORK OR GET OUT

Trump’s plan would have:

  • Required proof of citizenship to register to vote. Because clearly everyone keeps a passport, birth certificate, and notarized copy of their baby footprint in a fireproof safe next to the beer fridge.
  • Rejected any mail-in ballot arriving after Election Day. That’s right: If your mail got delayed because Todd the USPS driver took an extra lunch break — tough luck, your vote doesn’t count.

🏛 THE COURT: "WE HAVE THIS THING CALLED THE CONSTITUTION"

The judge gently reminded the Trump team that elections are run by the states, not the Executive Office of Whatever-We’re-Calling-It-This-Week.

Demanding federal proof of citizenship? Illegal.
Messing with state-run ballot deadlines? Also illegal.
Wasting everyone's time while pretending to be the Election Fairy Godmother? Illegal AND annoying.

🎯 THE REAL MOTTO: "IF YOU CAN'T WIN, SUPPRESS"

Of course, this isn’t really about voter security.
This is about Trump doing his usual:

  • Lose votes ➔ cry fraud.
  • Make up rules ➔ get sued.
  • Lose lawsuits ➔ call judges "radical left Marxist communists."

Rinse, repeat, fundraise.

💡 IF TRUMP WROTE THE RULES:

  • Bring 17 forms of ID.
  • Prove you were born on U.S. soil.
  • Submit DNA samples from both parents.
  • Swear allegiance to Trump 2025 merchandise.
  • Pay $150,000 "processing fee" to his PAC.
