A Statement Against Political Violence
We condemn political violence in all forms. The death of Charlie Kirk is a tragedy. We extend condolences to his family and friends and reaffirm that political disagreements must never be resolved through violence.
We must be clear: political violence has no place in our country.
The news of the shooting that took the life of Charlie Kirk is shocking and heartbreaking. Regardless of political differences, there is no justification for violence. In a democracy, we debate, we argue, and we disagree — but we do not attack one another.
To Charlie Kirk’s family, friends, and colleagues: we extend our deepest condolences. Losing someone to senseless violence is devastating, and our thoughts are with all who are grieving.
We must reject this cycle of hatred and ensure that our political disagreements are resolved through dialogue, not weapons. Every act of violence tears at the fabric of our democracy and endangers the safety of us all.
This is not about politics. It’s about humanity. We honor the principle that every person deserves to speak, to live, and to disagree in peace.
